Material Handler

Pay: $20/hr.

Hours: Monday-Friday 6AM-4:30PM

Job Type: Temp-Hire

Location: Broken Arrow, Oklahoma

Benefits: Vacation and sick time. Holiday pay and 1 personal day. 401k with a 4% match if the employee contributes 6% HSA plan medical insurance, dental, and vision insurance available.

Requirements:

3 Years' Experience as a material handler in an industrial setting. Must have extensive forklift experience. Excellent organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording and handling materials. Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects, as the role may involve manual handling. Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from supervisors. Must have a valid driver's license. Must be able to pass a 10-panel drug screen and a national background.

Job Description:

Receive incoming shipments of materials, equipment, and supplies. Inspect items for damage and verify accuracy against shipping documents. Organize and maintain the inventory of materials in a neat and systematic manner. Use inventory management systems to track and update stock levels. Transport materials within the facility using various equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other handling tools. Ensure safe handling to avoid damage. Pick, pack, and prepare materials for outgoing shipments or internal use according to work orders or requisitions. Maintain accurate records of material transactions, including receipts, distribution, and stock levels. Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations while handling materials. Participate in regular safety training and contribute to a safe work environment.
