The Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable person is required to perform day to day financial transactions by classifying, computing, posting and recording AR/AP Data.
Responsibilities
Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits
Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
Receive and respond to internal and external questions regarding billed amounts, collections and other related topics professional, friendly, clear and concise manner
Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
Generate reports detailing accounts receivable status
Skills
Proven working experience as accounts receivable clerk, accounts receivable manager or accountant
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of our employees and clients.
Relevant office or billing experience with confidential information.
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word; experience using a database.
Working knowledge of legal procedures and legal terminology is preferred.
High school diploma or GED required, some college credit hours, military training or technical school studies in a relevant area preferred.
Requirements
Qualifications, Education, and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as a demonstrated ability to utilize sales applications within ERP software (i.e. Encompass).
2+ Accounts Receivable experience
Familiarity with several Accounting Software Platforms
QuickBooks knowledge
Preferred:
BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field
1+ years' prior experience selling to the off-premise market
2+ years customer service or sales experience in the beverage alcohol industry
2+ years' experience with Sales, sales platforms, and service industry
Physical Requirements: Ability to routinely lift 25 - 75 lbs., climb, reach and perform various physical maneuvers to perform the essential functions of the job. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Current valid Oklahoma or Arkansas Drivers Licenses depending on location. This license must comply with our insurance carrier's guidelines for an acceptable, insured driver. ABLE Commission license.
